24 faces. 24 stories. One community
an annual portrait project
about the people whose work, service and talent shape the life of Richmond Hill
We Would Love to Hear Your Story
Visual storytelling
The project brings together photography and art to create powerful, visually compelling portraits that present each person in a distinctive and memorable way. This approach goes beyond traditional portraiture, giving every image its own character, atmosphere, and story
Our heroes
People who contribute to Richmond Hill through their communities or businesses and have a meaningful impact on the city. People who live and work in the community and contribute to it in very different ways: artists, doctors and nurses, teachers, mechanics, drivers, athletes, volunteers, musicians, writers, veterinarians, scientists, small local business owners, and others whose work and lives have become part of Richmond Hill
Community Engagement
The success of our project is built on community engagement, attention to its interests, and the collaborative search for candidates.
If you know someone living in Richmond Hill whose story deserves to be celebrated and who would be a great fit for our Faces of Richmond Hill project, please let us know. We’d love to hear your suggestions and explore the possibility of featuring them in our project
